Churches and cemeteries

The Fiechten cemetery in the Birsigtalstrasse was opened in 1982, when the cemetery in the middle of the village next to the Church of St. Nicholas had become too small for the growing population and could not be extended. Since then, burials in Reinach take place at the Fiechten cemetery. The chapel can accommodate up to 180 people for the funeral ceremonies. The old cemetery has become a local park in which one can linger peacefully.
As a general rule, only citizens of Reinach are buried in the municipal Fiechten cemetery. Please contact the funerary office in the town hall.
